There’s no such thing as a bad day when you're working in the stunning Peak District.
This week, we carried out a heavy reduction on a mature Ash tree showing signs of Ash dieback in the picturesque village of Hayfield, Derbyshire.
While complete removals are sometimes necessary, in this case, a significant reduction was the safest and most effective solution to manage the disease while maintaining the tree’s structure and safety. Our skilled climbers and ground crew worked in harmony to shape the canopy, remove decaying limbs, and reduce the overall crown weight—helping to prolong the life of the tree and minimize risk to nearby paths and property.
Working in the Peaks always brings a bit of magic to the job, but it also means navigating access challenges, weather shifts, and delicate ecosystems. Still, the views and fresh air more than make up for it!
Another safe, clean, and effective job delivered by the team.
